We will need to be able to confirm your age and identity by providing acceptable photographic ID.
There are only a limited number of acceptable forms of photographic ID. These are:
- A current passport
- A current Victorian drivers licence
- A current Firearms licence
- Any current document containing a photograph that is issued for purposes of identification by the Australian Government
- A current document issued by a tertiary school to a student that is issued for the purpose of identifying the student; and contains a photograph of the student.
In Victoria, forms of non-photographic ID can be used. These are:
- Birth Certificate
- Citizenship Certificate
- Marriage Certificate
- CenterLink ID i.e. Health Care Card
- A current document issued by a tertiary school to a student that is issued for the purpose of identifying the student
In addition to ID requirements, you need to be 18 years of age or older to trade second-hand goods within Victoria.
