Does EB Games price match other competitors?

Of course we do! We will price match any local competitor that has the same product currently on sale at a lower price than ours. All we ask is that you bring in the competitors catalogue as proof and provided it's in-stock and on sale at the time of matching, we will honor that price! We'll even let you bring the product back under our 7-Day return guarantee if you don't like it! Unbeatable!

What's even better is that you can even trade-in your old console games and hardware* to lower the price even further! Why shop anywhere else!

Product Return Policy

What is the "7-Day" returns policy?

Here at EB Games, we offer a fantastic 7-day product return policy for goods purchased from our stores. If you are unhappy with a product you may return it to any EB Games store for a full refund of the purchase price within 7 days of purchase. All that we ask is that you retain your original sales reciept as proof of purchase and return the goods in a sellable condition with all original packaging intact.

Unfortunately, we can't allow return of online PC games and online time cards.

Preordering Products

What does "Preordering" mean?

Store Customers:

Preordering allows you to place an order for a product before it is released. The advantage of this is that it ensures that you will recieve the product on day one of launch and you are given priority above walk-in customers. We will hold the product for a period of 48 hours after it has arrived for you, after then we may put the product out for general sale.

On some occasions we may not be able to get your product for its first shipment, typically due to high demand or limited supply. In this case we are more than happy to still take an order for you so you can receive the product from a subsequent shipment if available.

How do I "Preorder" a product?

Store Customers:

All you need to do is visit your local EB Games store and ask one of our helpful sales associates to setup a preorder for you. We do need to take some details from you in order to contact you when your product arrives. We also need to take a minimum $10 holding deposit. This deposit is fully refundable if you change your mind.

In some cases we may need to take more than $10 deposit for certain items, such as new console hardware. You will be advised by our friendly staff if this is the case. You may also use your old console games as deposit as well, it's a great way to save money and clean out your collection!

Product Release Dates

What does 'Release Date' mean?

Store Customers:

In most cases, this is the day we expect it to arrive in our stores, although not all products are expedited. To avoid a wasted trip, always contact your local EB Games store to determine availability.

Why do 'Release Dates' change?Release dates change for many reasons. Sometimes product vendors delay a product launch to make improvements. It is not uncommon for a release date to change several times before a product launches.

Who determines the 'Release Date'?

That depends. When a new product is announced and a product vendor has not provided a 'Release Date', we provide our best estimate of when we believe the product may ship. Sometimes a product vendor will provide us with only a month, quarter or year. In this case, we also make our best estimate. When we are unsure of a release date, we will assign the date to be the first of a month. Most release dates are provided by the product vendor, but these are also subject to frequent change.
